About the role

  • Bilingual Training & Documentation Specialist facilitating training in English and French for New Business at Manulife. Engaging learners effectively while supporting the retail insurance operations team.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive training for New Business – Retail Insurance Operations
  • Facilitate training in both English and French
  • Support and motivate groups of learners focusing on adult learning principles
  • Demonstrate excellence across facilitation skills
  • Identify learner risk and initiate risk mitigation processes
  • Provide progress updates to stakeholders
  • Recommend and implement learning risk mitigation strategies
  • Collaborate with partners to identify training needs and map training plans
  • Coordinate all aspects of learning delivery
  • Maintain the integrity and quality of the Knowledge Management System
  • Consult with leaders to ensure adherence to knowledge management strategy

Requirements

  • Bilingual (French/English) is required
  • 3 – 4 years of related industry experience
  • Insurance operational and related system knowledge a strong asset
  • Strong technical skills and experience with learning and facilitations software
  • Strong ability to present information, provide instruction and direction to manage learners
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize workload and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Customer obsession mindset
  • Learn new information quickly and collaborate effectively with internal and external partners
  • Virtual facilitation skills that can engage online learners is an asset
  • Experience in adult learning theory and methodology is an asset
  • Facilitation certification is an asset
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills, proof reading skills and documentation skills
