About the role

  • Project Manager driving change initiatives and operational readiness at Manulife. Collaborating with leadership to transform and implement new services.

Responsibilities

  • develop and maintain integrated project plans, roadmaps, portfolio views, milestones, dependencies, risks, and issue tracking
  • serve as a central point of coordination across operations leadership, sub-teams, and stakeholders
  • support the design and implementation of the Target Operating Model
  • assess organizational readiness and identify impacts to people, processes, tools, capacity, training needs, and role clarity
  • facilitate meetings and workshops to drive alignment and resolve issues
  • design governance forums, structured status reporting, and decision-making frameworks
  • ensure project and portfolio documentation remains accurate and accessible
  • support delivery best practices and continuous improvement

Requirements

  • 7+ years of project or program management experience
  • demonstrated experience managing integrated plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and stakeholder reporting in complex delivery environments
  • experience supporting operational transformation initiatives in complex, matrixed, cross-functional environments
  • strong facilitation, communication, stakeholder management, and decision-support skills
  • knowledge of project management methodologies and delivery practices, including agile, scrum, and waterfall
  • PMP or equivalent certification preferred
  • experience in Group Benefits, insurance, or financial services is an asset
  • experience using project management tools such as Smartsheet and JIRA
