About the role
- Bilingual Nurse Case Manager supporting patients on specialty therapies at McKesson. Coordinating onboarding, education, and adherence support across the treatment journey in Ontario or Quebec.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for prescribers and clinical teams to enroll patients and coordinate services.
- Provide patient education (disease, medication, management of side effects) and deliver injection training for home, clinic, or virtual settings, according to patient preference.
- Support treatment adherence through scheduled follow-ups and promptly communicate clinical updates to physicians and clinical staff.
- Perform concise, accurate documentation and conduct chart reviews as needed to support reimbursement.
- Collaborate with McKesson pharmacy colleagues, manufacturer partners, and clinical teams to remove barriers to care and escalate issues beyond the program when necessary.
Requirements
- Bilingual: fluency in French and English, both written and spoken.
- Nursing license in Ontario or Quebec (or both).
- Registered Nurse (RN) designation is strongly preferred; Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN/RPN) and Nurse Practitioners (NP) will be considered.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
