Responsibilities
Responsible for the timely enrollment of patients into the Patient Support Program(s)
Liaise with the patient, insurer and physician regarding documentation for maximum reimbursement coverage
Conduct patient financial assessment eligibility based on program guidelines
Provide responses to general inquiry calls based on program materials
Coordinate with Specialty and Retail pharmacies to ensure patient access to treatment
Proactively monitor patient’s file to ensure timely renewal of reimbursement and financial assistance
Process documents supporting patient care, including infusion reports and lab results
Receive, record and report Adverse Events as per Pharmaceutical Manufacturer requirements
Participate in departmental continuous improvement activities
Requirements
Excellent verbal and written skills in English (and French if a Bilingual role)
Post-secondary education or equivalent
3+ years of related experience in contact centre environment(s)
Experience in the healthcare, pharmaceutical or insurance industry would be an asset
Strong customer service, communication, problem solving skills required
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word/Excel)
