Co-Op Student assisting in Data Analytics & AI at MealSuite, helping deliver better dining experiences through technology. Support projects focusing on AI and workflow improvements during the co-op term.
Responsibilities
Conduct UAT testing for the HR7 data transfer project; document test results, defects, and check sign-off outcomes
Coordinate and launch a mini AI accelerator case; support scoping, stakeholder engagement, and progress tracking
Coordinate and gather workflow information from AI business cases; identify and document process bottlenecks and improvement opportunities
Assist in the delivery of AI training programs; support content preparation, session logistics, and participant coordination
AI Business Case Workflow Analysis – coordinate with stakeholders, gather workflow data, and deliver bottleneck analysis report (approximately 4 months to complete)
Requirements
Current enrollment in a post-secondary program with a Canadian institution in Business, Finance, Information Technology, Human Resources, or related field
Basic understanding of AI concepts
Experience with digital productivity tools (Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, or similar)
Clear and concise communication skills with the ability to convey ideas effectively in both written and verbal form
Active listening skills, demonstrating attention to stakeholder needs, the ability to ask clarifying questions, and confirm understanding before acting
The ability to build relationships across different business functions and show a team-oriented attitude
Proactive communication and willingness to flag issues early, provide regular progress updates, and the confidence to escalate blockers without prompting
Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-moving environment
