About the role
- Project Coordinator supporting the execution of cross-functional projects in pharmaceutical ingredients and excipients at Medisca. Involves project planning, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed Gantt charts for all current and upcoming projects related to the introduction of new products.
- Work closely with all task owners (R&D, Engineering, Procurement, Quality, Marketing, etc.) to confirm task durations, dependencies, and key milestones.
- Maintain and update Gantt charts weekly to reflect actual progress against the schedule.
- Track project progress, identify delays or bottlenecks, and provide updated reports to stakeholders.
- Coordinate day-to-day execution within cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables meet established deadlines.
- Monitor project risks, open issues, and interdependencies, and proactively report any issues that could impact delivery, schedule, or quality.
- Prepare weekly progress reports summarizing project status, risks, and key decisions required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in project management, business administration, or a related field.
- One (1) to two (2) years of project management experience in manufacturing, product management, or the life sciences.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or equivalent Gantt-based planning tools.
- Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple complex projects concurrently.
- Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to quickly identify interdependencies and risks.
