About the role

Project Coordinator supporting the execution of cross-functional projects in pharmaceutical ingredients and excipients at Medisca. Involves project planning, risk management, and stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

Develop detailed Gantt charts for all current and upcoming projects related to the introduction of new products.
Work closely with all task owners (R&D, Engineering, Procurement, Quality, Marketing, etc.) to confirm task durations, dependencies, and key milestones.
Maintain and update Gantt charts weekly to reflect actual progress against the schedule.
Track project progress, identify delays or bottlenecks, and provide updated reports to stakeholders.
Coordinate day-to-day execution within cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables meet established deadlines.
Monitor project risks, open issues, and interdependencies, and proactively report any issues that could impact delivery, schedule, or quality.
Prepare weekly progress reports summarizing project status, risks, and key decisions required.

Bachelor’s degree in project management, business administration, or a related field.
One (1) to two (2) years of project management experience in manufacturing, product management, or the life sciences.
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or equivalent Gantt-based planning tools.
Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder-management skills.
Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple complex projects concurrently.
Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to quickly identify interdependencies and risks.
