About the role

  • Project Coordinator supporting the execution of cross-functional projects in pharmaceutical ingredients and excipients at Medisca. Involves project planning, risk management, and stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed Gantt charts for all current and upcoming projects related to the introduction of new products.
  • Work closely with all task owners (R&D, Engineering, Procurement, Quality, Marketing, etc.) to confirm task durations, dependencies, and key milestones.
  • Maintain and update Gantt charts weekly to reflect actual progress against the schedule.
  • Track project progress, identify delays or bottlenecks, and provide updated reports to stakeholders.
  • Coordinate day-to-day execution within cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables meet established deadlines.
  • Monitor project risks, open issues, and interdependencies, and proactively report any issues that could impact delivery, schedule, or quality.
  • Prepare weekly progress reports summarizing project status, risks, and key decisions required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in project management, business administration, or a related field.
  • One (1) to two (2) years of project management experience in manufacturing, product management, or the life sciences.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or equivalent Gantt-based planning tools.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple complex projects concurrently.
  • Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to quickly identify interdependencies and risks.
