Responsibilities
Install, troubleshoot, and maintain a wide range of equipment, including computers, cash registers, point-of-sale (POS) systems, printers, digital signage systems, cameras, and more, as well as perform cabling work and software updates as required.
Analyze issues, recommend root causes and corrective actions, and ensure merchants are satisfied with the resolution.
Build excellent relationships with our merchants by demonstrating professionalism at all times.
Maintain organization of tools, equipment, company vehicle, and work environment.
Requirements
Postsecondary education in electronics, information technology, or a related field.
Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Minimum 2 years’ experience in field service, technical support, customer service, or a related role.
Ability to test and troubleshoot computer, network, or point-of-sale (POS) terminal issues.
Knowledge of computers, general network management concepts, the Internet, and Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
Proficiency in English and French (reading, writing, and speaking).
Ability to work in confined spaces and handle small electrical and hand tools and equipment.
Valid provincial driver’s license.
Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of people and remain calm in routine and emergency situations.
Flexibility to work variable schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays (schedules are always communicated in advance).
