About the role
- Project Coordinator overseeing small to medium healthcare facility improvement projects. Collaborating with project managers and user groups to deliver successful outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Coordinating and implementing small to medium capital projects as assigned, including consultation with user groups.
- Supporting project managers on preparation of tender and contract documents.
- Communicating project updates and recommendations to project sponsors, project managers and key stakeholders.
- Creating and maintaining capital planning inventories (e.g. space inventory, as-built facility floor plans etc.).
- Ensuring that all contractors have appropriate documentation and approval to undertake work.
Requirements
- Degree or diploma in Interior Design, Engineering, Architecture, Construction, and/or Project Management preferred.
- 1-2 years relevant work experience in construction, design, and/or healthcare project management.
- Proficient computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office, MS Project, Adobe an asset.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Bluebeam.
- Understanding of Alternative Financing and Procurement and experience with construction contracts and contract management preferred.
