About the role

  • Project Coordinator overseeing small to medium healthcare facility improvement projects. Collaborating with project managers and user groups to deliver successful outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating and implementing small to medium capital projects as assigned, including consultation with user groups.
  • Supporting project managers on preparation of tender and contract documents.
  • Communicating project updates and recommendations to project sponsors, project managers and key stakeholders.
  • Creating and maintaining capital planning inventories (e.g. space inventory, as-built facility floor plans etc.).
  • Ensuring that all contractors have appropriate documentation and approval to undertake work.

Requirements

  • Degree or diploma in Interior Design, Engineering, Architecture, Construction, and/or Project Management preferred.
  • 1-2 years relevant work experience in construction, design, and/or healthcare project management.
  • Proficient computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office, MS Project, Adobe an asset.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and Bluebeam.
  • Understanding of Alternative Financing and Procurement and experience with construction contracts and contract management preferred.
