About the role

  • Financial Systems Analyst securing Oracle JD Edwards ERP for PCL, an employee-owned construction company. Supporting North American and Australian offices through ERP security, governance, and access management.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and support security within JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (E1), ensuring appropriate access is provisioned, maintained, and monitored
  • Design, implement, and maintain ERP security roles, permissions, and access controls aligned with organizational and compliance requirements
  • Provide technical leadership and subject matter expertise for ERP security initiatives, enhancements, and projects
  • Develop, maintain, and improve security policies, standards, procedures, and supporting documentation
  • Serve as the primary security liaison for ERP-related projects, ensuring security requirements are incorporated into solution design and implementation
  • Investigate, analyze, and resolve complex security incidents, vulnerabilities, and access-related issues while minimizing business disruption
  • Collaborate with development, integration, and support teams to ensure applications, interfaces, and services comply with PCL security standards
  • Support change management processes and promote adherence to governance and security best practices
  • Research emerging technologies, industry trends, and security practices to drive continuous improvement and innovation
  • Identify opportunities for operational efficiencies, automation, and cost optimization within ERP security processes
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Postsecondary degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Accounting Information Systems, or a related discipline
  • 3 years of progressive experience in a related field preferred
  • Strong experience supporting ERP security, user provisioning, role design, and access governance
  • Experience with ERP security auditing, compliance controls, segregation of duties (SoD), and risk management practices
  • Knowledge of identity and access management principles and security frameworks
  • Experience with security solutions such as Pathlock, or similar governance and compliance tools is considered an asset
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues
  • Experience participating in technology projects, system upgrades, and enterprise implementations
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Demonstrated commitment to collaboration, customer service, and continuous improvement
