About the role
- Technical Sourcer identifying and engaging engineers, product managers, and data scientists for client companies. Building diverse technical talent pipelines through research, AI sourcing tools, and personalized outreach.
Responsibilities
- Identify engineers, product managers, data scientists, and technical leaders across companies from pre-seed to pre-IPO
- Use Gem, Juicebox, Pin, and other AI sourcing tools
- Build comprehensive candidate lists through multi-channel sourcing
- Write personalized outreach messages and conduct initial conversations with potential candidates
- Research companies and teams to identify candidates and understand the competitive landscape
- Build strong, diverse candidate pipelines for clients' people-first hiring approach
- Conduct brief phone/video calls to assess basic qualifications and interest before passing candidates to recruiters
- Test outreach messages and sourcing approaches to improve response rates and candidate diversity
- Collaborate with recruiters to understand role requirements and help build inclusive teams
Requirements
- Experience reaching out to professionals in recruiting, sales, business development, or research roles
- Naturally curious and enjoys research and detective work
- Willingness to learn and experiment with AI tools and new platforms
- Strong research abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to find information online, cross-reference data, and build comprehensive profiles
- Understanding of technical roles, including software engineers, data scientists, and product managers
- Excellent written English
- Comfortable having initial conversations with technical professionals
- Ability to manage multiple sourcing projects, track candidate interactions, and maintain accurate records
- Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to meet deadlines consistently
