About the role
- Account Manager generating financing business for RB Global’s commercial asset marketplace. Building customer relationships, handling credit applications, and closing equipment financing transactions.
Responsibilities
- Contact customers interacting with Ritchie Bros. to obtain completed credit applications leading to financing transactions
- Make outbound calls to customers who purchased equipment at recent Ritchie Bros. auctions
- Satisfy financing inquiries from auction customers
- Market and educate customers on Ritchie Bros. Financial Services products
- Establish equipment financing pre-approvals for future purchases
- Provide rate quotations
- Close customers on approval terms and conditions
- Execute the Follow the Customer strategy where applicable
- Execute the re-seller strategy to engage end-user customers
Requirements
- Driven to seek new business and build authentic customer relationships
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask
- Ability to collaborate and interact effectively within a team
- Sales experience is an asset; transferable skills and willingness to learn are valued
- Demonstrated ability or potential to meet or exceed goals
- Additional languages are an asset, especially French or Spanish
- Strong presentation, strategic thinking, negotiation, and closing skills
- Strong work ethic
- Remote role; candidates living within commuting distance of the Burnaby office must work hybrid, 3 days per week in office
