About the role
- IT manager leading Redpath’s global PMO and Business Analysis teams. Improving ServiceNow-based service delivery, governance, project execution, and operational performance.
Responsibilities
- Lead, guide, and manage Global IT PMO Project Leads and IT Business Analysts
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and with high quality
- Support project leads in defining project objectives and oversee quality control throughout project lifecycles
- Establish, maintain, and improve IT PMO success criteria and project management processes
- Communicate project status and performance to senior leadership
- Improve team service-level agreements and daily Business Analysis support operations
- Oversee incident management, service delivery, customer support, ticket handling, and governance
- Establish performance management metrics and drive continuous improvement
- Generate and compile reports to improve group performance
- Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize tickets
- Manage project governance, methodology, portfolios, financial reporting, timelines, milestones, and deliverables
- Define project scope, goals, success criteria, and business requirements with senior management and stakeholders
- Plan and schedule projects, analyze status reports, troubleshoot problem areas, and conduct lessons learned
- Estimate resources, assess staffing or consultant needs, prepare budget proposals, and recommend budget changes
- Collaborate on planning, design, development, deployment, and enhancement of applications
- Develop project plans, communications documents, requirements documentation, presentations, and progress reports
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities and resolve team issues and conflicts
- Manage project dependencies, critical paths, scope changes, crises, and contingency plans
- Coach, mentor, motivate, and supervise project team members and contractors
- Build business relationships and ensure internal controls and change-management processes throughout project lifecycles
- Maintain a safe and efficient working environment and report unsafe conditions
Requirements
- University degree or college diploma in business administration, management information systems, or equivalent practical experience
- Business Analysis training
- Project Management Fundamentals training
- 7+ years of experience in deployment and support of software system implementations in a global environment
- Competent and proficient understanding of business application platforms
- In-depth and working knowledge of ServiceNow
- Experience supporting HFM, InEight Cloud, InEight Document, SharePoint, Intelex Safety, Oracle Fusion, and Power BI solutions
- Experience overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software and hardware solutions, systems, or products
- Proven Business Analysis experience, including gathering and analyzing requirements and proposing and executing solutions
- Demonstrated project management skills
- Fluent English language skills
- PMP Certification considered an asset
- ITIL Foundations Certification considered an asset
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Keen attention to detail
- Ability to conduct research into system issues and products
- Global travel as required to meet with clients, stakeholders, or off-site personnel/management
- Candidate may be based in either the Vaughan or North Bay office locations
