Account Manager growing RMC water-treatment sales and managing customer relationships. Leading service technicians, technical presentations, field evaluations, and on-site support across Ontario.
Responsibilities
Manage client relationships and drive sales growth
Balance strategic sales objectives with operational team leadership where the position oversees service personnel
Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective customers
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets
Identify new business opportunities and expand market share within the assigned territory
Conduct sales and technical presentations with demonstrations showcasing RMC solutions
Negotiate contracts and manage customer expectations
Create customer solution proposals covering service, technology, and chemicals, with professional presentations
Communicate plans, progress, and results to RMC stakeholders
Provide market intelligence to marketing management
Maintain the sales activity pipeline using CRM software
Provide regular revenue re-forecasts versus original plans
Lead the overall customer experience and coordinate with local sales and service teams
Deliver customer business reviews, including KPIs, in person or remotely
Champion safety awareness and compliance
Lead and manage service technicians delivering on-site customer support
Coordinate service schedules
Train, mentor, and develop service team members
Monitor service team KPIs and provide feedback
Guide troubleshooting of equipment and chemical application issues
Conduct on-site evaluations
Oversee inventory management and service team tools and resources
Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies
Perform similar or related duties as needed
Requirements
Valid driver’s license
5+ years in Account/Service Management of Water Treatment required
Able to build professional customer presentations using MS Office tools
Solution selling and negotiation
Ability to understand P&L, with strong attention to detail
CRM software
Ability to transport RMC chemical products and equipment, including pushing, pulling, and lifting approximately 50 lbs.
Travel is required and may include extended drive times and overnight stays based on assigned territory
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time
Ability to walk extended distances in a factory environment, sometimes on wet surfaces
Ability to climb ladders
Efficient use of hand tools for installing and servicing equipment
Visual acuity necessary to utilize a computer monitor and ability to operate general office equipment throughout the course of a normal workday
