About the role

  • Special Project Coordinator responsible for supporting community services and launching special projects at The Salvation Army in Canada. Collaborating with local communities to build partnerships and manage event planning.

Responsibilities

  • Provide general support to various services in the Community and Services setting
  • Take a lead in developing and launching Special Projects as assigned
  • Assist with different basic administrative tasks
  • Collaborate with Community Ministries Director to ensure effective program delivery
  • Build partnerships with local businesses and individuals to support ongoing and future program needs

Requirements

  • 1 to 2 years’ relevant experience
  • Knowledge and skill in social media platforms and management
  • Experience in event planning
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
  • Both a vulnerable sector search and criminal record check are required
