About the role

Project Manager overseeing all phases of Building Restoration projects for Sense Engineering. Leading project teams and ensuring exceptional engineering service delivery.

Responsibilities

Oversee all phases of a project from design, construction, and delivery under the support and guidance of a Project Principal
Lead proposal development including scope definition, fee estimation, scheduling, and resource planning
Conduct site investigations and evaluations
Prepare detailed technical reports of findings, provide recommendations on project concept, and provide direction during construction phase
Prepare detailed restoration design, including scopes of work, specifications, and drawings
Chair client meetings and communicate design updates, changes, and key project milestones
Manage the tendering process and oversee contract administration, including bid preparation, contractor selection, and review of invoices and change orders
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field from an accredited university
Minimum 5 years of Building Envelope and/or Structural Restoration experience
Registered with or eligible for registration with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA)
Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and relationship building skills
Good working knowledge of MS Office tools, including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
Strong work ethic and attention to detail coupled with a client-centric mindset
Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation required
