Expert consultant in project management for STQ's project management unit. Supporting project structure, analysis, and management practices.
Responsibilities
Act as a project management expert and provide specialized support to the Project Management Expertise Unit (UE) and STQ project managers.
Contribute to the structuring, analysis and guidance of projects.
Support the application of methodological practices and governance standards.
Assist with the preparation of decision documents, analyses, tools and required deliverables.
Serve as a primary point of contact between the PS and the STQ.
Work autonomously while adhering to STQ’s strategic directions, processes and methodological standards.
Be fluent in French, both written and spoken.
Contribute to the planning, structuring and monitoring of ongoing projects.
Support STQ in the analysis, evaluation and guidance of emerging projects whose parameters are not yet fully defined.
Promote and support the application of project management best practices and methodological standards.
Provide expert support that is adaptable and proportionate to the evolving STQ project portfolio.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in project management, management, business administration or another relevant field.
At least one (1) recognized project management certification (e.g., PMP®, PRINCE2® Practitioner or equivalent).
At least one (1) recognized Agile certification (e.g., PMI‑ACP®, CSM®, PSM® or equivalent).
Minimum seven (7) years of professional experience in project management.
Demonstrated experience delivering at least three (3) organizational transformation and/or IT transformation projects in comparable contexts.
Two (2) engagements totaling more than three (3) years of experience in public or para-public organizations or in highly regulated environments with comparable constraints (security, compliance, governance) in project management.
Two (2) engagements totaling more than three (3) years of experience supporting a project with a budget over CAD 5 million.
