About the role
- Solutions Engineer enhancing pre-sales functions and customer relationships. Involved with major tech organizations to improve software development practices as part of Sourcegraph's platform.
Responsibilities
- Help take the pre-sales organization to the next level.
- Build trusting customer relationships and manage customer calls.
- Be the advocate for customers by providing feedback to internal teams.
- Lead early-stage conversations with prospects and identify their needs.
- Mentor and train teammates and new hires.
Requirements
- At least 4 years experience in a relevant role such as pre-Sales Engineering or Solutions Engineering with a technical product.
- Experience selling Enterprise software solutions.
- Strong technical knowledge and communication skills.
- Ability to understand customer motivations and problems.
- Proficiency in back end infrastructure architecture.
- Experience writing code in one of the following: JavaScript, Python, Java, Go.
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle and continuous integration/deployment.
