About the role

  • Solutions Engineer supporting demos, trials, integrations, and technical evaluations for Spellbook’s AI copilot for transactional lawyers. Advising enterprise prospects through the sales cycle.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Account Executives to support prospects throughout the evaluation and sales cycle
  • Understand enterprise customer requirements and plan and deliver demos and trials
  • Guide prospects through self-service setup and handle basic user and integration provisioning
  • Answer product, technical, security, and data privacy questions, involving internal teams when needed
  • Prepare demo and trial environments with sample agreements tailored to prospect use cases
  • Facilitate document and data migrations with internal teams
  • Triage bugs and functionality issues, escalating to Engineering and owning issues through resolution
  • Lead technical demonstrations and proofs of concept addressing unique business objectives
  • Collaborate cross-functionally on RFPs and questionnaires
  • Create and maintain technical content and documentation
  • Become a product expert across the Spellbook platform and understand competitors
  • Attend events or conferences and host internal training sessions as assigned

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in solutions engineering, sales engineering, technical support, or a similar customer-facing technical role, ideally in SaaS or B2B environments
  • Familiarity with security and data privacy frameworks such as SOC 2, GDPR, and PIPEDA
  • Experience troubleshooting application setup, account setup, and basic user provisioning issues
  • Experience configuring software integrations for customer trials or onboarding
  • Ability to articulate technical concepts and business benefits to technical and non-technical audiences, including lawyers and IT teams
  • Ability to understand customer pain points and position suitable solutions
  • Self-starter able to thrive in fast-paced and unstructured environments
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate within a distributed team
  • Proficiency with HubSpot or equivalent customer interaction management tools
  • Must be legally entitled to work in the United States or Canada
  • Nice to have: startup experience

  • Nice to have: experience in a high-growth scaling technology company
  • Nice to have: experience delivering product demonstrations and technical presentations
  • Nice to have: experience deploying or administering Microsoft 365 / Word add-in environments
