Responsibilities
- Manage a team of design professionals and technicians
- Mentor and supervise staff and develop high-performing project teams
- Perform business development/application tasks and collaborate with staff to increase project wins and develop long lasting client relationships
- Client facing for business development contact, meetings, walk-downs, and presentations
- Develop project management plans for projects; establish goals and objectives for unique and complex projects
- Manage projects of varying complexity within multidisciplinary teams
- Assist senior engineers/designers with developing and managing the project scope, budget, staffing, and schedule
Requirements
- Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- Minimum of 15 years related experience in project management, preferably for water & wastewater projects
- Licensed Professional Engineer (P. Eng) or ability to obtain license within 6 months
- Project Management Professional (PMP) is a plus
- Demonstrated successful experience in leadership, including defining and setting the direction for a team, project, and office; strategy development; change management; and corporate stewardship
- Travel to other offices and project sites may be required
