About the role

  • Electrical Foreman supervising industrial crews and coordinating field activities for Stratus, an electrical and instrumentation company. Ensuring safety, manpower, materials, documentation, schedules, and budgets across Edmonton-area projects.

Responsibilities

  • Directly supervise crews and coordinate daily field activities
  • Plan manpower and allocate labour
  • Conduct daily toolbox talks and hazard assessments
  • Monitor productivity and communicate concerns affecting schedule or budget
  • Coordinate material requests, deliveries, and staging
  • Ensure timesheets, FLHAs, inspections, and documentation are completed accurately
  • Assist with onboarding and orientation of new workers to site expectations
  • Demonstrate visible safety leadership and promote a proactive safety culture

Requirements

  • Must be competent in industrial environments
  • Knowledge of industrial standards
  • Excellent problem-solving ability
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Able to produce quality documentation in a timely and accurate manner
  • Physically able to lift a minimum of 35 lbs
  • Valid Alberta driver's license and willingness to travel
  • Journeyman Electrician - Red Seal preferred
  • Valid CSTS, WHMIS, First Aid and Fall Protection certificates
