About the role
- Technical Implementation Manager responsible for onboarding new clients to SaaS solutions. Collaborating with customers to ensure smooth integration and providing technical support throughout implementation.
Responsibilities
- Manage the technical implementation process for new customers, from kickoff to go-live.
- Autonomously lead the end-to-end onboarding and project management for smaller-scale accounts, serving as the primary point of contact when a dedicated CSM is not assigned.
- Collaborate with customers to understand their technical requirements, business needs, and workflows.
- Configure and customize our SaaS platform to meet specific customer requirements.
- Oversee data migration from customer systems to our platform, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
- Facilitate integrations with other customers systems (e.g., CRM, ERP) using APIs or other integration methods.
- Provide technical expertise and support to customers throughout the implementation process.
- Identify and resolve technical issues that may arise during implementation and post-launch.
- Respond to incidents and provide Level 2 technical assistance to end-users.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of the implementation process, including configurations, and workflows.
- Conduct technical training sessions for customers to ensure they can effectively use our platform.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Customer Success, Customer Support, and Product Development, to ensure a smooth and efficient implementation process.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve our implementation processes and methodologies.
- Identify expansion and upsell opportunities in partnership with our Sales and Customer Success teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience in a technical implementation role, preferably in a SaaS environment.
- Experience with system configuration, data migration, and integration.
- Proficiency in APIs, MongoDB/NoSQL databases, scripting languages (Python, JavaScript), web technologies (HTML, CSS), etc.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with a proven track record of managing projects or client onboardings independently.
