About the role
- Communications Advisor leading workplace and tenant communications for Sun Life, a financial security and insurance company. Driving employee experience, operational alignment and Corporate Real Estate storytelling across its portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Lead the strategy, planning and governance of workplace and tenant communications
- Develop integrated communication plans and messaging supporting employee experience, operational priorities and enterprise objectives
- Serve as the primary point of contact for workplace and building communications
- Establish and maintain communication standards, processes and best practices
- Lead employee-facing communications, including building notices, operational updates and workplace announcements
- Partner with cross-functional teams on workplace projects, programs, events and change initiatives
- Strengthen the Corporate Real Estate brand through strategic storytelling
Requirements
- 3-6+ years of relevant experience
- University degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or a related field
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to translate complex information into clear, consistent and audience-appropriate communication
- Proven ability to build relationships across teams and regions
- Proficiency in SharePoint Online, Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft Office
- Corporate real estate, workplace or property management communications experience is considered an asset
