About the role

  • Trainer for Learning & Development in Group Disability at Sun Life. Providing training and mentorship to employees across Canada.

Responsibilities

  • Provide engaging on-site and remote training to new and existing staff for the Disability Payment and Claims Establishment teams
  • Establish strong working relationships with your business partners to assess training needs
  • Conduct needs analyses to help determine appropriate training solutions
  • Design engaging training material and maintain its currency in accordance with changing business practices
  • Measure learner progress using appropriate testing, assessments, and evaluations
  • Conduct quality reviews of production tasks to ensure accuracy and understanding while providing actionable feedback

Requirements

  • Bilingualism (French, English, both oral and written) required for Quebec
  • Disability Payment and/or Claims Establishment (Admin) experience and subject matter expertise
  • Advanced skill in the Microsoft product suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, MS Teams)
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks in an ever-changing environment and prioritize effectively
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Proven self-starter who is resourceful and curious
