About the role

  • People Services Specialist handling employee HR inquiries for Sun Life, a financial-services company. Managing cases, payroll and benefits questions, policy guidance, and service improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact for employee HR inquiries about policies, benefits, payroll, leaves, and other HR services
  • Resolve employee inquiries accurately and efficiently
  • Use case management tools to log, track, document, and resolve cases
  • Escalate complex issues to senior team members or management
  • Maintain knowledge of HR policies and processes and guide employees to available resources
  • Identify recurring issues and suggest process improvements
  • Participate in initiatives to enhance HR Contact Centre service delivery
  • Collaborate with HR teams, Payroll, Benefits, and IT on complex issues
  • Ensure accurate employee data management in HR systems
  • Uphold data privacy and confidentiality standards
  • Adhere to HR policies, legal and regulatory requirements
  • Communicate policy changes effectively to employees

  • Bilingualism in French and English, both oral and written, required for Quebec only

  • Experience and/or post-secondary education with a focus on Human Resources is an asset
