Responsibilities
- Provide technical information architecture and solution design expertise in support of large-scale infrastructure modernization initiatives.
- Conduct comprehensive architecture assessments
- Develop solution designs
- Prepare architecture documentation
- Support infrastructure transformation projects
- Collaborate with stakeholders, technical specialists, infrastructure teams, and service providers
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience
- Extensive experience developing solution architectures and technical designs
- Strong ability to document architecture artifacts and technical blueprints
- Experience conducting architecture reviews and assessments
- Proficiency using Microsoft Visio for architecture documentation
- Strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure environments
- Experience with on-premises hosting environments and cloud technologies
- Knowledge of networking principles and infrastructure design
- Ability to ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture standards and best practices
- Strong project leadership capabilities
- Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and service providers
- Experience with architecture and design within the Ontario Public Sector (OPS)
