Responsibilities
Attend TD Wealth’s virtual career event dedicated to financial planning
Learn about TD Wealth’s financial planning business model and vision
Ask questions of regional leaders, guest Financial Planners, and other participants
Build strong client relationships and understand clients’ life and financial objectives
Conduct in-depth financial reviews and provide ongoing support and guidance
Analyze results using data-driven insights and develop recommendations
Evaluate the effectiveness of financial programs, policies, and practices
Collaborate with the team to achieve shared objectives and enhance client experience
Monitor productivity and service delivery and identify efficiency opportunities
Champion continuous improvement initiatives
Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging trends
Mentor and guide colleagues
Uphold risk management and control aligned with the organization’s risk appetite
Contribute to a positive, service-oriented workplace
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred
3–5 years of experience in banking services, with a track record of managing client relationships and providing tailored investment advice (preferred)
Willingness to obtain Registered Representative (RR) licensing with the Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization (CIRO), if not currently licensed
Commitment to achieving the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation within the first three years in the role
CFP eligibility: University Degree OR up to 10 years of qualifying work experience OR QAFP professional in good standing for a minimum of 5 years at the time of applying
Candidates must reside in Newfoundland and Labrador, Prince Edward Island (PEI), Nova Scotia, or New Brunswick, Canada
