About the role

  • Workday Lead optimizing the HCM ecosystem at TD SYNNEX. Driving implementations and mentoring junior HRIS analysts for better workflow and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Drive end-to-end Workday implementations and integrations, ensuring on-time delivery, adherence to best practices, and alignment with our business objectives.
  • Serve as a trusted Workday consultant to HR, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, and Finance teams—translating requirements into scalable configuration, reports, and dashboards.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives: streamline workflows, reduce manual workarounds, and leverage Workday’s self-service features to boost efficiency and user adoption.
  • Build strong relationships across global teams—engaging executives, functional experts, IT partners, and third-party vendors to foster a collaborative, solution-oriented environment.
  • Mentor and coach junior HRIS analysts: share knowledge, develop training materials, and support career advancement—cultivating a culture of learning and innovation.
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and communication strategies to meet milestones.
  • Manage risk and change controls, escalating issues promptly to stakeholders.
  • Configure HCM modules including Core HCM, Benefits, Recruiting, Time Tracking, Absence, and Compensation.
  • Analyze current configurations; recommend and implement process improvements.
  • Facilitate design workshops, requirement sessions, and user acceptance testing.
  • Create and deliver training materials, job aids, and knowledge-sharing forums.
  • Monitor system performance; propose enhancements to automate processes.
  • Stay current on Workday releases and industry trends; lead adoption of new features.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Human Resources, Business, or related field.
  • Preferred: Workday certifications (Core HCM, Benefits, Integrations, Recruiting, Time Tracking, Absence, Advanced Compensation, or Talent).
  • 5–8 years of hands-on Workday implementation and support experience in a consulting or in-house HRIS role.
  • Proven track record delivering end-to-end Workday projects on schedule and within budget.
  • Complex problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making.
  • Strong stakeholder management: negotiate, influence, and present at all organizational levels.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; able to distill technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
  • Detail-oriented with superior organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Adaptable under pressure, able to balance multiple priorities and tight deadlines.
  • Advanced proficiency in Workday security, reporting (Custom and Table), integrations (EIB, Core Connectors), and related technologies.
  • Demonstrated commitment to confidentiality, compliance, and data integrity.
