About the role

  • Project Coordinator supporting highway maintenance and construction projects under experienced supervisors. Engaging in operations and quality control in Grande Prairie, Alberta.

Responsibilities

  • Support our Highway Maintenance team in Grande Prairie
  • Work under the guidance of experienced supervisors in the successful delivery of highway maintenance and construction projects
  • Gain exposure to all aspects of operations, including quality control, estimating, and contract administration
  • Conduct quality inspections, audits, and materials testing
  • Build relationships and influence key stakeholders
  • Analyze operational data (e.g., storm response, patrols, drainage, vegetation)

Requirements

  • 1+ years of related experience in project coordination, management or a combination of education and field exposure
  • CET or EIT designation is a nice to have but not required
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; team-oriented and proactive
  • Familiarity with construction documentation, RFIs, subcontracts, and purchase orders
  • Ability to problem solve on the fly
  • A high level of proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and scheduling tools
  • Flexibility to travel to other locations
  • Successful completion of pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
  • Valid driver’s license with clear 3-year abstract
