Responsibilities

This is a unique hybrid role combining deep data analytics expertise with product management development—building the data and analytics foundation for an emerging business from scratch.
Work directly within the Product organization, learning product management while building analytics infrastructure
Bridge from Data & Reporting into Product Management with structured coaching
Gain exposure to P&L analysis, capital/operational spending, and financial decision-making
Develop a rare, highly-valued skill combination: technical data expertise + product management acumen
Build systems and frameworks with full ownership and creative freedom
Requires significant independent problem-solving with limited technical support
Expect pivots as the business evolves—flexibility is essential

3+ years in business intelligence, data analytics, or reporting roles
Advanced SQL proficiency – complex queries, joins, aggregations, query optimization
3+ years data modeling – dimensional models, star schemas, relational database structures
Strong BI tool experience – Power BI and/or Tableau and/or Google Looker Studio (proficiency in at least one required)
Advanced Excel/Google Sheets – pivot tables, complex formulas, data manipulation
ETL/data pipeline understanding – how data flows from source to reporting (you'll work with data engineers, not build pipelines yourself)
Data governance knowledge – data quality, documentation, security, compliance
Self-starter mentality – proven ability to work independently on technical challenges with minimal supervision
Comfort with ambiguity – adapt as business strategy evolves and pivot quickly
Excellent communication – translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and executives
Genuine interest in product management and business strategy.
