About the role
- ServiceNow Developer designing and developing solutions on the ServiceNow platform. Collaborating with business analysts and architects to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and develop solutions on the ServiceNow platform
- Build and maintain: Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Flow Designer workflows
- Customize forms, lists, and UI actions following platform best practices
- Develop and support integrations using REST and SOAP APIs
- Participate in platform upgrades, patching, and testing activities
- Troubleshoot and resolve application and platform issues
- Optimize scripts and configurations for performance and scalability
- Support deployments using update sets and application repositories
- Work closely with business analysts, architects, and stakeholders to refine requirements
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, backlog grooming, demos)
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and production releases
- Document technical designs, configurations, and support procedures
Requirements
- 3–5 + years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience
- Proficient in JavaScript (server-side and client-side)
- Understanding of ServiceNow architecture and data model
- Experience with Flow Designer and legacy workflow
- Building and consuming REST/SOAP integrations
- Knowledge of ServiceNow security model (roles, ACLs)
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
- Mainline CIS Certifications (Certified Implementation Specialists) - (any 2 of ITSM, Data Foundations, ITOM, GRC/IRM, SecOps, VR)
