Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with all SafeContractor processes and procedures related to this role.
- Conduct detailed assessments of contractor applications and their supporting documentation.
- Receive, capture, and accurately record contractor information in accordance with SafeContractor’s evidence management procedures.
- Communicate professionally with contractors by phone and email, building positive relationships throughout the process.
- Make scheduled follow-up calls and maintain effective communication as required.
Requirements
- Bilingual in French and English is required.
- Post-secondary education in occupational health and safety (degree, diploma, certificate, etc.) is required.
- Minimum of 3+ years' experience in an occupational health and safety role, preferably with hands-on field experience.
- Experience with OSHA regulations in the United States is an asset.
- Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) certification is an additional advantage.
