About the role

Responsibilities

  • Construct hydrologic and hydraulic models for projects like watershed studies and floodplain analyses
  • Perform hydraulic and hydrologic analyses requiring water resources input
  • Prepare engineering calculations, designs, data analysis, and technical reports
  • Conduct field work including site investigation, monitoring, and construction supervision
  • Provide environmental due diligence, regulatory compliance, auditing, and permitting services

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in water resources, environmental, or civil engineering or similar (required)
  • Advanced degree in water resources, environmental, or civil engineering or similar (preferred)
  • Prior co-op or internship experience in environmental or civil consulting (preferred)
  • Experience with a broad range of engineering software including SWMM and Hec-RAS (preferred)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (required)
  • Eligible to be licensed to practice as a professional engineer in Ontario (required)
  • Valid Canadian driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel (required)
