About the role

  • Payroll Administrator processing payroll for North America at Trulioo, the global leader in digital identity verification. Ensuring compliance and supporting financial accuracy in a hybrid working environment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and administer full-cycle semi-monthly salaried payroll for North America
  • Prepare and reconcile payroll registers, reports, and general ledger entries, partnering with Finance to ensure accurate accounting
  • Perform benefit reconciliations and process retirement plan remittances (401(k), RRSP) in a timely and accurate manner
  • Ensure compliance with applicable payroll legislation across North America, including taxes, garnishments, and statutory deductions
  • Support month-end, quarter-end and year-end activities, including T4s, W-2s, ROEs, benefits reporting, and regulatory filings (WCB, Employer Health Tax)
  • Support internal and external audit requests, providing documentation and reconciliations as required
  • Maintain payroll documentation, controls, and process improvements to ensure operational efficiency and compliance

Requirements

  • PCP certification or working towards these certifications
  • Post-secondary degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in payroll and benefits
  • Working knowledge of North American payroll practices and benefit regulations (e.g 401(k), RRSP, WCB, Employer Health Tax)
  • Strong Analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving Skills
  • High attention to details, confidentiality and organizational skills
  • Experience with payroll systems (eg. Payworks, ADP WFN) and advanced excel skills
