About the role

  • Sales Director growing Vidispine’s specialist media software business across North America. Winning enterprise customers, expanding accounts and leading complex partner-supported deals.

Responsibilities

  • Develop the business in North America and own the regional market
  • Turn the sales plan into a North America territory plan focused on high-potential customers, segments and opportunities
  • Find and qualify new-customer opportunities, lead discovery and take deals through signed contract
  • Own customer relationships, maintain account plans and coordinate retention and renewals
  • Work with the Head of Sales on strategic pursuits, executive relationships and complex negotiations
  • Own pipeline and forecast, maintaining reliable CRM data and clear qualification criteria
  • Lead responses to RFIs, RFPs and tenders with presales and specialist teams
  • Validate scope, product fit and delivery assumptions with Product Management, R&D and Professional Services
  • Ensure clear handover after contract signature
  • Build business cases for software, subscriptions and associated services while protecting pricing and margins
  • Develop joint opportunities with system integrator, technology and software partners
  • Work with Marketing on regional campaigns and events such as NAB Show
  • Bring customer and market feedback into portfolio discussions
  • Represent Vidispine with customers, partners and at industry events
  • Achieve agreed bookings, revenue, new-customer, account-expansion, pipeline, conversion, forecast, partner-contribution and profitability targets

Requirements

  • 8+ years of enterprise software sales in North America
  • Evidence of meeting or exceeding commercial targets on complex, multi-year deals
  • Experience selling complex solutions to broadcasters, media companies, sports organizations or comparable customers with demanding media workflows
  • Ability to manage extended sales cycles, formal tenders and negotiations involving business, technology, procurement and executive stakeholders
  • Commercial understanding of media asset management, production workflows, rights and scheduling, or advertising technology
  • Comfort leading technical conversations, including cloud-based media workflows such as AWS
  • Experience with direct and partner sales, recurring revenue models and account expansion
  • Disciplined forecasting and CRM use
  • Self-driven, transparent and accountable working style
  • Experience working in an international team
  • Fluent business English
  • Willingness to travel within North America and internationally
  • German is an advantage
