About the role

  • Manager of Data Analytics leading a team to drive insights at Voldex, a leading gaming company. Ensuring high standards in analytics methodologies and team development.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of four analysts embedded across Brookhaven, Driving Empire, and NFL Universe Football, providing clear direction, feedback, and growth opportunities.
  • Own the analytics function's centralized roadmap covering tooling, instrumentation, automation, and enablement priorities.
  • Partner with each game team's product manager and analysts to maintain a prioritized backlog of analytics work aligned to their roadmap.
  • Establish and maintain high standards for analytical methodology across the portfolio, including A/B testing governance, telemetry design, and data storytelling.
  • Identify and drive opportunities to automate reporting, improve self-serve access to data, and incorporate AI tooling to raise the team's output.
  • Ensure the team is producing clear, decision-oriented outputs that are trusted by game leads and leadership.
  • Create systems for knowledge sharing across the analytics team, including regular analysis reviews, shared documentation, reusable templates, cross-game learnings, and opportunities for analysts to present work to one another.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in analytics or data science, with at least 2 years managing or leading an analytics team.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop analysts at multiple levels, with a track record of raising the quality and impact of a team's output.
  • Deep expertise in A/B testing and experimentation: hypothesis design, power analysis, statistical significance, and communicating results to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Advanced SQL skills and fluency across a modern data stack including data warehousing, BI tooling, and analytics engineering.
  • Strong understanding of consumer product KPIs, particularly retention, engagement, and monetization in a live service or F2P context.
  • Clear point of view on where AI and automation can improve how an analytics team operates, with experience driving adoption.
  • Excellent cross-functional communication skills; able to translate data into decisions for both technical and executive audiences.
