Responsibilities
- Automation Quality Engineer (QE) position focusing on test automation with strong proficiency in Java/Python/JavaScript, experience with automation tools (Selenium/Cypress/Playwright/TestNG/JUnit), API automation for REST services, BDD/TDD understanding (Cucumber, SpecFlow), version control systems (Git), CI/CD pipelines, SDLC/STLC/Agile methodologies, functional/regression/integration/smoke testing, test strategy creation, test planning, and defect tracking using tools like JIRA or Azure Boards.
Requirements
- 6-8 years of experience in software quality engineering with strong focus on test automation. Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Java/Python/JavaScript (at least one), hands-on experience with automation tools (Selenium/Cypress/Playwright/TestNG/JUnit), API automation (REST services), good understanding of BDD/TDD (Cucumber, SpecFlow, etc.), experience with version control systems (Git), working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies. Testing Knowledge: Functional, Regression, Integration, and Smoke Testing, test strategy creation and test planning, defect tracking using tools like JIRA, Azure Boards, etc.
