About the role
- Experienced ETL Automation Tester needed in Toronto to ensure quality of data pipelines and cloud solutions. On-site 4 days/week, collaborating with developers and data engineers.
Responsibilities
- In this role, you will focus on ensuring the quality and reliability of data pipelines and cloud-based data solutions. You will work on-site 4 days a week, collaborating closely with developers, data engineers, and QE leads to validate complex data transformations.
Requirements
- 7 to 8 years of experience in ETL testing and automation. Excellent SQL coding skills (advanced queries, joins, data validation). Good Python coding skills (automation scripting). Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux, Cloud, Hadoop, and Parquet. Proven experience with AWS S3. Proficiency with GitHub. Strong experience in automated ETL testing. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Familiarity with Quality Engineering (QE) methodologies and approaches.
