About the role
- Intermediate Project Manager needed for a 6-month contract with the City of Toronto, leading enterprise IT projects in a hybrid setting.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage enterprise-level transformation projects, overseeing all aspects including project charter development, detailed planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk and issue management, resource allocation, quality assurance, and stakeholder engagement. Drive procurement processes, manage vendor relationships, develop change management strategies, and provide executive-level reporting.
Requirements
- Post-secondary education in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent combination. PMP certification required. Extensive experience managing transformational enterprise-wide IT projects in complex multi-departmental environments. Experience with contract negotiations, procurement procedures, and vendor management. Certified Scrum Master considered an asset.
