About the role
- Lead Protractor automation strategy and framework development for Angular applications. Mentor QA teams and integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines.
Responsibilities
- Lead automation strategy and framework development using Protractor. Develop and maintain automated UI test suites for Angular and non-Angular applications. Implement Page Object Model and reusable automation components. Design reliable automation scripts with proper synchronization, waits, and locators. Ensure test stability and maintainability across environments. Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines. Mentor QA engineers and lead automation best practices. Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA teams to ensure product quality. Participate in test planning, estimation, and sprint activities.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with: Protractor (Mandatory), JavaScript / TypeScript, Page Object Model, Handling Angular & Non-Angular pages, Locators, waits, and synchronization techniques, UI automation concepts using Selenium WebDriver. Automation frameworks such as: Jasmine / Mocha / Cucumber. CI/CD tools such as: Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab. Version control: Git Branching and pull request workflows. Testing Knowledge: Strong understanding of SDLC / STLC, Test design techniques and defect lifecycle, Regression testing strategies. Leadership & Professional Expectations: Experience leading automation teams and mentoring QA engineers, Strong stakeholder communication and collaboration skills, Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities, Ability to manage automation strategy and quality delivery.
