About the role
- Senior Automation QA Engineer for a global IT services firm supporting a leading investment firm in downtown Toronto. 6-month contract, hybrid in-office 4 days/week.
Responsibilities
- Design, build and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts; drive shift-left approach to software validation; participate in product design and development; monitor test automation effectiveness; define and execute test plans; apply engineering best practices; foster collaboration and mentorship; maintain relationships with business partners and vendor partners.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant QA/Test experience; robust experience with SQL, Python, Pytest, Zephyr; experience with QE processes and methodologies; experience writing clean, usable, and efficient code; experience coordinating test activities amongst multiple teams.
