About the role

  • Hiring Senior Program/Project Manager in Halifax, NS. Must have Power Utilities experience and lead large-scale transformation programs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead large-scale transformation, transition, or system integration programs. Support utility operational transformation, grid modernization, ISO/RTO programs, or control center initiatives. Manage complex multi-vendor, cross-functional, and enterprise delivery programs. Oversee Integrated Master Program Plans including schedules, milestones, dependencies, and critical path activities. Manage program risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies (RAID). Coordinate operational readiness, integrated testing, cutover planning, go-live activities, and transition programs. Coordinate vendors, system integrators, stakeholders, and delivery teams across multiple workstreams.

Requirements

  • Power Utilities experience is mandatory. Extensive experience leading large-scale transformation, transition, or system integration programs. Experience supporting utility operational transformation, grid modernization, ISO/RTO programs, or control center initiatives. Familiarity with operational reliability requirements, utility governance models, or mission-critical operational environments. Experience supporting EMS/SCADA, operational technology environments, or large operational cutovers. Experience managing complex multi-vendor, cross-functional, and enterprise delivery programs. Strong understanding of integrated delivery across business, IT, OT, operational, cybersecurity, and regulatory domains. Strong experience managing Integrated Master Program Plans including schedules, milestones, dependencies, and critical path activities. Experience managing program risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies (RAID). Strong knowledge of program governance frameworks, integrated planning, financial tracking, forecasting, and dependency management. Experience coordinating operational readiness, integrated testing, cutover planning, go-live activities, and transition programs. Experience coordinating vendors, system integrators, stakeholders, and delivery teams across multiple workstreams. Strong leadership, facilitation, communication, stakeholder management, and conflict resolution skills.
