About the role
- Sr. Program Manager for data analytics & regulatory reporting at a financial institution. Lead complex tech programs, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate multiple large-scale data analytics and regulatory reporting programs from inception to completion. Manage program scope, timeline, budget, and resources effectively. Engage and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership, business SMEs, and technology teams. Establish and maintain governance structures, protocols, and reporting dashboards. Provide strategic guidance, ensuring compliance with internal standards and external regulations. Monitor program risks proactively, developing and implementing mitigation strategies. Deliver consistent communication updates to sponsors, executives, and key stakeholders. Oversee financial management, including forecasting, budgeting, and cost tracking. Support vendor management, RFP processes, and strategic sourcing activities. Apply best practices in program life cycle methodologies, governance, and documentation.
Requirements
- 10+ years of program management experience in banking or financial institutions. Proven ability to lead multiple complex technology projects with large budgets. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Experience overseeing compliance-driven programs and regulatory delivery. Excellent risk management and mitigation skills. Knowledge of data analytics and reporting frameworks within financial services. Familiarity with project management tools such as MS Office, Jira, Confluence, and Clarity. PMP or Scaled Agile certifications are assets. Nice to Have: Previous experience working at a large banking institution, regulatory reporting project expertise, advanced data project experience, knowledge of agile methodologies and tools.
