Vendor Relations Manager optimizing vendor portfolios, pricing, contracts, and rewards catalogs for Achievers’ employee recognition platform. Improving member redemption experiences through data analysis and cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities
Partner with Marketplace vendors to expand reward exposure, drive incremental revenue, and deliver the best redemption experience for members worldwide
Manage a diverse vendor portfolio, including EMEA Merchandises and Gift Cards partners
Develop and maintain positive vendor relationships and promptly address operational issues
Collaborate with Finance to ensure accurate and timely vendor payments
Ensure vendor contract compliance with business needs, commitments, operational objectives, and industry standards
Manage efficiency, escalation, performance, growth, platform change, and promotion initiatives
Manage contract negotiations and renewals to secure favourable terms
Track and report vendor performance metrics against commitments, benchmarks, and goals
Support vendor performance improvement plans
Analyze data and reporting to deliver key details to stakeholders
Identify margin improvement opportunities and optimize product pricing and margins through negotiation
Identify performance issues and implement corrective actions with vendors
Collaborate with Merchandising on product popularity, performance, and selection
Work with vendors to introduce new and trending products
Collaborate cross-functionally with Fulfillment, Promotions, Merchandising, Vendor Partnerships, Customer Success, Finance, Support Operations, Legal, Development, Product, and Marketplace teams
Capture and action customer needs to enhance the member experience
Identify product and operational opportunities available through vendors
Requirements
3 to 5 years of Vendor Management/eCommerce experience
Experience with tracking vendor performance against KPIs
Ability to effectively negotiate with key stakeholders and vendors
Excellent communication and relationship management skills
Excellent analytical skills to solve ambiguous problems and develop insights from large data sets
Self-starter; acts with a sense of urgency, proven results and solution-oriented
Evidence of effective time management and prioritization against business needs
Proficiency with CRMs such as Salesforce an asset
Experience with using analytical tools (i.e., Microsoft Excel, Tableau) an asset
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Fluency in Spanish an asset
