About the role

  • Brand Marketing Manager shaping campaigns, partnerships, and measurement for Affirm’s transparent buy-now-pay-later platform. Translating consumer insight into distinctive brand demand.

Responsibilities

  • Own campaign strategy and architecture for priority brand and partner moments, including co-marketing projects with key merchants and ongoing merchant and promotional campaigns
  • Translate business goals, audience insight, and brand strategy into briefs and recommendations
  • Drive early strategic thinking and lead brief development for partner campaigns
  • Shape collaboration among Partner Marketing, Product Marketing, Creative, Social, Paid, and Comms teams
  • Advise teams on tradeoffs and complex decisions
  • Review creative to ensure execution teams can build and ship excellent work
  • Set campaign go-to-market strategy and investment priorities
  • Determine how Brand Operations resources timelines and workflow and how channel leads allocate budget
  • Define campaign learnings and turn them into reusable frameworks and standards
  • Own brand measurement and reporting with paid and analyst functions
  • Maintain the integrity of the brand health tracker
  • Hold execution partners accountable to the brief
  • Provide leadership with recurring reporting on performance and needed changes

Requirements

  • 8-10 years in brand marketing, integrated marketing, or a closely related discipline
  • Experience managing full campaigns from strategy to launch
  • Ideally experience at both agency and in-house teams
  • Experience briefing and running creative work on strategy, on budget and on time
  • Track record of building brand awareness, equity, and differentiation through data and consumer insight
  • Ability to evaluate performance against business KPIs
  • Comfortable operating in a complex, matrixed marketing organization
  • Capable of building alignment across cross-functional partners through influence
  • Ability to use data to develop and articulate a clear point of view
  • Experience extending campaigns to global markets is a plus
  • Experience in fintech, financial services, or another trust-sensitive category is a plus
