About the role
- Production Project Leader leading continuous process improvement initiatives in a manufacturing environment. Focused on enhancing safety, quality, capacity, and compliance in production operations.
Responsibilities
- Independently lead continuous process improvement initiatives to improve production safety, quality, capacity, reliability, cost per 1000 dosages, customer service and regulatory compliance
- Work closely with Production Technicians and the Production Technical team in analyzing production processes and equipment
- Manage resources to complete projects on schedule
- Liaise regularly with Production Operations, Engineering, Quality Assurance and SHE group to coordinate project activities
- Lead investigations for deviations in the Solid Dose areas relating to equipment, process and product failures
- Recommend solutions for improvements in production processes, reliability and compliance
Requirements
- Post-secondary degree in Engineering, Sciences and project management experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to work within a team environment (as part of a team) as demonstrated through previous work experience
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proven customer service skills
- Proven strong organizational, time management, and project management skills
- Demonstrated experience in coordinating project activities
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
