About the role

  • Production Project Leader leading continuous process improvement initiatives in a manufacturing environment. Focused on enhancing safety, quality, capacity, and compliance in production operations.

Responsibilities

  • Independently lead continuous process improvement initiatives to improve production safety, quality, capacity, reliability, cost per 1000 dosages, customer service and regulatory compliance
  • Work closely with Production Technicians and the Production Technical team in analyzing production processes and equipment
  • Manage resources to complete projects on schedule
  • Liaise regularly with Production Operations, Engineering, Quality Assurance and SHE group to coordinate project activities
  • Lead investigations for deviations in the Solid Dose areas relating to equipment, process and product failures
  • Recommend solutions for improvements in production processes, reliability and compliance

Requirements

  • Post-secondary degree in Engineering, Sciences and project management experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to work within a team environment (as part of a team) as demonstrated through previous work experience
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven customer service skills
  • Proven strong organizational, time management, and project management skills
  • Demonstrated experience in coordinating project activities
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
