About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop a forensic mindset, learning how to detect patterns and identify red flags
  • Strengthen financial modeling skills in Excel, working on loss quantification and economic analyses
  • Gain hands-on exposure to fraud investigations and commercial insurance claims
  • Collaborate with engaged teams to deliver excellent client service

Requirements

  • Enrolled in a post-secondary program specializing in Accounting, Finance, Business or related fields
  • Strong interest in building a career in Investigative and Forensic Accounting
  • Genuine desire to provide outstanding client service
  • Ability to work independently, while also contributing effectively in a team environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with curiosity and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, able to articulate ideas clearly in both written and verbal formats
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Experience or strong interest in using data analytics tools
  • Exposure to advanced data analysis, including tools such as Power BI and Tableau will be considered an asset
