Payroll Administrator for BGC Engineering in Vancouver, processing payroll for 700+ employees. Responsibilities include payroll inquiries, updating employee records, and benefits administration.
Responsibilities
Participate in full cycle biweekly payroll processing for 700+ employees
Respond to all payroll inquiries
Update employee changes within BST and ADP software
Assist with benefits administration and taxable benefits, in coordination with HR
Prepare workers compensation and other payroll statutory filings for all BGC jurisdictions
Run various reports as needed
Issue ROEs and respond to Service Canada requests
Assist in completing year end reporting requirements and reconciliations
Assist with other payroll duties, as assigned
Requirements
1+ years’ experience in full cycle payroll, preferably in a related industry (Engineering or other professional services)
PCP designation from the National Payroll Institute or actively working toward completion is preferred
Payroll experience with an organization of at least 200 employees
Familiarity with reconciling benefit provider statements
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel
Experience with US or Australian payroll would be an asset
Experience with BST, BambooHR, ADP’s WorkForce Now would be an asset
