About the role
- Payroll Administrator for BGC Engineering in Vancouver, processing payroll for 700+ employees. Responsibilities include payroll inquiries, updating employee records, and benefits administration.
Responsibilities
- Participate in full cycle biweekly payroll processing for 700+ employees
- Respond to all payroll inquiries
- Update employee changes within BST and ADP software
- Assist with benefits administration and taxable benefits, in coordination with HR
- Prepare workers compensation and other payroll statutory filings for all BGC jurisdictions
- Run various reports as needed
- Issue ROEs and respond to Service Canada requests
- Assist in completing year end reporting requirements and reconciliations
- Assist with other payroll duties, as assigned
Requirements
- 1+ years’ experience in full cycle payroll, preferably in a related industry (Engineering or other professional services)
- PCP designation from the National Payroll Institute or actively working toward completion is preferred
- Payroll experience with an organization of at least 200 employees
- Familiarity with reconciling benefit provider statements
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel
- Experience with US or Australian payroll would be an asset
- Experience with BST, BambooHR, ADP’s WorkForce Now would be an asset
