Responsibilities
Work closely with the Art Director and project leadership as well as the dev team to define and communicate direction for this IP.
Explore, revise and iterate on pipelines and gameplays quickly and efficiently.
Provide in-depth research and reference materials to help drive visual development.
Consistently deliver asset work of the highest caliber that can inspire the team.
Delegate and direct responsibilities where needed, and proactively seek out and present solutions to problems.
Work with technical artists to come up with the most optimal and effective solutions to visualizing the art direction.
Work with production to provide estimates and ensure timely delivery of deliverables.
Help establish best practices and help write documentation to further organize and align the team.
Requirements
4+ years of industry experienceExperience leading art teams, in a senior or lead capacity.
Expertise in Maya and Unreal Engine.
Ability to create 3D production assets and Substance materials (Painter and/or Designer).
Ability to work in a collaborative environment with different disciplines outside of art
