About the role

  • HR Coordinator supporting onboarding, off-boarding, benefits, payroll, and BambooHR administration. BlueCat operates an AI-driven network operations platform for global enterprises.

Responsibilities

  • Provide first-point-of-contact HR support to employees and managers across global offices
  • Respond to inquiries about policies, procedures, programs, benefits, and perks, redirecting matters as needed
  • Manage and organize new-hire onboarding and coordinate with internal stakeholders
  • Lead off-boarding, including HRIS, payroll, and benefits updates
  • Ensure BambooHR and related processes meet organizational and stakeholder needs through best-practice research and continuous improvement
  • Assist with HR projects, implementation support, and system optimization for HR and benefits operations, dashboards, reporting, data management, security, and data integrity
  • Maintain and support HR technology systems, including troubleshooting and problem resolution
  • Administer benefits programs, including broker and insurer coordination, employee questions, leave-of-absence claims, program maintenance, improvements, and open enrollment
  • Support payroll by processing HRIS and internal-system changes and tracking them bi-monthly
  • Prepare employment verification letters, correspondence, reports, and presentations
  • Perform other related tasks as required

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Post Graduate Diploma or Certificate in Human Resources, Finance Statistics, or Information Management
  • Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience preferred, including co-op or internship roles
  • HRIS and other HR systems experience ideally
  • Experience with North American benefits administration an asset
  • Entrepreneurial approach to work and accountability for successes and failures
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including confidence communicating in front of large groups
  • Collaborative nature and ability to build effective relationships across all organizational levels
  • Strong sense of urgency and ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables
  • Exceptional organization and coordination skills
  • Strong attention to detail
