- Bilingual Virtual Claims Helper assisting Indigenous Class Members with claims for discrimination settlements. Providing trauma-informed support virtually and clearly conveying claims process information.
Responsibilities
- Support Class Members virtually with information, resources and Claim Form support
- Assist claimants in completing claim forms
- Participate in training sessions and self-directed learning classes
- Carry out work following established health and safety protocols
- Contribute to a positive safety culture
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience working with Indigenous Peoples and communities
- Bilingual proficiency in both English and French
- Strong knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) systems
- Strong knowledge and awareness of Indigenous culture and history
- Ability to work professionally in an Indigenous language is an asset
- Access to a quiet, private workspace with reliable internet
- Willingness to learn and adapt as work evolves
- Criminal Record Check (CRC) and Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) required
